Unregistered, You must accept the Forum Rules below to be able to use some forum functions.

Forum Rules General Rules General Rules

1. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, profanity (or attempts to bypass profanity filters), insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.

2. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts. Also refrain from using all capital letters in your post.

3. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed. Please don't post just to increase your post count, as a high post count doesn't always equate to expertise. This rule is mainly in relation to people coming in to an existing thread and taking it off in another direction (eg. by asking a totally new question or hijacking the thread for their own purpose).

4. Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, chat room, picture comments, video comments and private message systems to spam other members.

5. Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. Please try to keep your posts on topic, that is to make sure new posts are posted in the right forum, and replies are about the same topic as the main topic of the thread.

6. We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate community standards. The forum administrator shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

7. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

8. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed, and will get you banned. If you forget your password, use lost password recovery form or contact an administrator

9. While we are quite happy to have constructive comparative conversations about competitor's forums, we will not tolerate blatant adverts. Also, we would appreciate it if you refrain from blatant bashing of other forum boards.

10. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

11. Posts arguing about forum policies are not allowed.

12. Posts discussing moderator actions are also not allowed.

13. Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

14. You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.

15. You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests, not Cancun related.

16. Emails to moderators or administrators are supposed to be confidential information. Emails or responses posted in the forums will be deleted.

17. We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right. A banned forum member who has been banned indefinitely is not allowed to rejoin.

Advertising Services and Solicitation

1. We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and soliciting in signatures is also prohibited.

2. The only advertising allowed on forums is from our paying advertisers. No Exceptions. We do not allow "free advertising" as it is unfair to our current advertisers since it reduces the value they receive from advertising here.

Links in signatures must follow these guidelines

1. Linking to a commercial product/service or other Cancun Website/Forum is prohibited.

2. Promotional text for a commercial product or other Cancun Website/Forum is prohibited.

3. A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual, a competitor, or does not violate community standards. The forum administrator shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs, prostitution, and/or sex.)

4. Duplicate links to the same URL in a signature are not allowed.


1. Avatars that may be confused with official forum staff are not allowed.

Signature Size Limits

1. All signatures should not exceed the following limits
For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.)

2. Do not use images with large text to bypass the previous item
For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size


Although the administrators and moderators of Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owner of Community Forums, nor 998 Quintana Roo Productions. (The Author) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise are in violation of any laws.

The owner Community Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Staff Disputes

Any disputes with the staff of the Community Forums will be handled in private through the Private Message System.
